The 77% of the Argentine factories that produce agricultural machinery are located in these three provinces. The 42% of them are located in the province of Santa Fe.


The company is located a hundred kilometers away from the city of Rosario, a city that has one of the most important ports in Argentina. In the port of Rosario, a great percentage of the exported grains of the country are loaded, and it is a truly busy communication centre among Mercosur’s neighboring countries, where important commercial routes converge.

The two industrial factories of Vassalli Fabril S.A. are located in the city of Firmat, in the south of Santa Fe province, in the area which has more settlings of national companies that manufacture agricultural machinery. This location integrates the company into a financial, commercial and industrial centre set in the very core of the most productive agricultural region of Argentina, well known as “Pampa Húmeda.”

The territorial unit made up of Santa Fe, Córdoba and Entre Rios, and the north of Buenos Aires province represents a key developmental centre which adds value to the agricultural and industrial chain which enjoys great international recognition. The 77% of the Argentinean factories that produce agricultural machinery are located among these three provinces. The 42% of them are only in Santa Fe province.

To make a clear reference, we can say that this region concentrates the 21% of the Argentinean cultivated area. And as regards soybean, the average yields per hectare are superior to those reached in the United States, Brazil, China and India. “Rosafé” area, i.e. the area which produces and grinds grains to be exported in loading units located on the right bank of the Parana river, is a strip of land that goes from Puerto San Martín (40 km north from Rosario), to Villa Constitución (40 km to the south). It is the most important area of the country regardin grain and byproducts exportation, representing between the 65% and 70% of the complete physical exportation, increasing even more in terms of value.

Here we can find different departments’ offices such as Administration and Finance, Manufacture Engineering, Research and Development, Spare Parts, and Quality Control. Besides, there are production sectors such as Machining, Cutting and Stamping, Welding, Painting, Assembly, Painting and Drying Cabin, Adjustments, and Final Control, as well as a Supplies Storehouse.

The sound investment policy in technology and new investments in technology and infrastructure aimed at re-equipping and improving the productive structure allowed the reopening of the historical combine factory Roque Vassalli S.A., and the following launching of Vassalli trademark into the market with a highly technological model which has a huge threshing capacity.

Vassalli Fabril shaped its production system improving the working capacity of both factories and added modern equipment that increased the already existing capacity.
